Rob
Powell, Chief Executive Officer (Founder)
Rob brings over twelve years of technology and energy industry
experience
to Verde Energy and serves the company as CEO and Chairman of the
Board. He has built a reputation as a successful
entrepreneur and executive having been involved in the formation
of several businesses, including Wiresoft, a Seattle-based
manufacturer of small and mid-sized business server solutions where he
served as President, and Southern Minerals, an Austin-based
independent exploration and production company focused on domestic
natural gas reserves where he serves as CEO and Chairman of the
Board.
Chris Frothingham,
Chief Operating Officer
(Co-founder)
Chris brings over twelve years of technology and enterprise management
experience to Verde Energy and serves the company as COO and member of
the Board of Directors. He joins Verde Energy from DevSelect, a
Seattle-based technology consulting firm where he is currently a Senior
Partner responsible for managing the Enterprise Services practice and
Sales and Marketing group. Prior to DevSelect, Chris was a
Principal at CGI-AMS where he led business development activities in
the Pacific Northwest and worked as a management consultant in
Switzerland, U.S., and Australia for communications, media and
entertainment clients. Chris is also the Vice Chairman of the
Board for Southern Minerals, an Austin-based independent exploration
and production company focused on domestic natural gas reserves.
Ben
Strader, Senior Sales Manager
Ben brings over eight years of consultative sales
expertise to Verde
Energy and serves as the company's Senior Sales Manager. He joins
Verde Energy from Hoover's Online, a leading business information
provider, where he served as Senior
Sales Manager and
successfully
consulted for thirty select Fortune 500 companies helping to drive
performance
through sales and business development initiatives using both an online
marketing database as well as raw data feeds. Having consulted
for
energy companies including Duke Energy, Constellation Energy, and Exxon
Mobile, Ben was
drawn to the renewable energy industry through his diligent
research.
Christine
Markey, Client Engagement Manager
Christine brings over ten years of technology
industry experience to Verde Energy and serves as the company's Client
Engagement Manager. Christine joins Verde Energy from Techsolve
Inc.,
a computer installation service provider focused on educational
institutions, where she provided sales and delivery management services
for
installations of computers and servers in
K-12 and higher education schools across the country. Her
combined passion for green energy and experience in project management
has been the
driving force in moving her career into the renewable energy
field.
